Emmbrook School
John Redwood today welcomed Wokingham Council’s decision to keep Emmbrook School, and to spend money on improving the building and facilities there. As local Member of Parliament, he has been a long standing supporter of keeping the School, and advised the Council to look elsewhere for its College development.
He said: “It has always been clear that people in Emmbrook wish to keep their school. I received many emails and letters telling me that, and found the same when I called on people in their homes in the Emmbrook catchment area. I am delighted the Council has listened to local opinion as they promised to do and has come to the right answer. I am also pleased that they remain committed to improving all local secondary schools, and will work out detailed proposals to upgrade the Emmbrook facilities” For further information: John Redwood on 07711 486 555 Nikki Page Mobile: 0705 011 3286 |
