Wilson congratulates local regional finalist of retail award
|
Rob Wilson, Member of Parliament for Reading East, was pleased to congratulate Mr Singh of Anrish Newsagents on becoming the South East Regional Finalist for the PayPoint Shop of the Year Award 2007, when he visited the store on Friday 18th May.
Anrish Newsagents of 102 Oxford Road, Reading, was one of 5,000 nominations for the award submitted by customers of the 16,000 outlets across the UK . PayPoint is one of the UK's leading premier branded retail networks providing customers with a convenient way to pay their regular bills in cash, charge up their meter or top-up their mobile phone, through the PayPoint facilities located in many newsagents, convenience stores, supermarkets and garages across the country. Rob Wilson commented: “The awards celebrate the vital role small shops play in the local community. It is a credit to Mr Singh and his staff that Anrish News is strongly backed by its customers, who clearly appreciate the excellent customer service the store provides.” 18/05/07 |
