Benyon promoted

In yesterday’s reshuffle of Shadow Ministerial posts, the Conservative Leader, David Cameron, appointed Newbury MP, Richard Benyon, to be a Whip. The Whips manage the parliamentary business for Conservative MPs and work with other Front Bench Shadow Ministers to ensure that Conservative MPs in Parliament are an effective opposition.
