Benyon promoted
|
In yesterday’s reshuffle of Shadow Ministerial posts, the Conservative Leader, David Cameron, appointed Newbury MP, Richard Benyon, to be a Whip.
The Whips manage the parliamentary business for Conservative MPs and work with other Front Bench Shadow Ministers to ensure that Conservative MPs in Parliament are an effective opposition. Following his appointment, Richard said “I am delighted to have been given this job and look forward to working closely with my Front Bench colleagues at this fascinating time in British politics.” |
