John Redwood Business Breakfast Meeting
MP for Wokingham, the Rt. Hon. John Redwood, hosts a quarterly breakfast meeting specifically for the Redwood Business Club: a group of local business people who want to keep up to date with the latest business issues discussed in parliament. The next meeting takes place on 14th September at Reading Moat House, Sindlesham.

The most recent meeting focused on business and community-related issues and the changes that have taken place since Gordon Brown came to power. Rt. Hon. John Redwood has been running the breakfast meeting three or four times a year since February 2006. Each meeting presents the ideal opportunity for business people to acquaint themselves with the latest government issues affecting business.

Topics for discussion revolve around many issues both national and local, including taxation. Typically the meetings attract a broad cross-section of local businesses of all sizes, ranging from bankers, estate agents, solicitors, printers, and many sole traders. There tends to be around 20-25 attendees and the meetings are held at the Reading Moat House, Sindlesham.

The next business breakfast meeting takes place on Friday 14th September from 7.30am (for an 8am start). The cost of the breakfast is £11.50. In addition, each attendee has to be a member of the Redwood business club which entails a subscription cost of £10 per year.

Anyone wishing to attend the next meeting should contact Christine Hill on 0118-962-9501. Please note, this is not a ‘turn up on the day’ event and places must be booked in advance.
