UK General Election 2010 forum for candidates

Before and since the last general election I have actively approached all the MPs in Berkshire offering free web space on BinB site but none of them have taken full advantage of the opportunity.

They have chosen to ignore a local website which had over 4,000,000 page views in the last year, much of which will have been local people searching the web for information.

What a wasted opportunity by those in power. A popular excuse was they already had websites but then they actively go off and support foreign initiatives like Face Book and YouTube.

The recent announcement that we are out of recession because of a 0.1% growth while they are milking their expenses and allowing RBS to lend billions to the Americans to buy Cadbury's, a UK business! Are none of them Manchester United fans or business people with an eye for a rum deal!?!

I'm incredibly bored and disillusioned with the current system and personally believe our nation would be better served by politicians who are out for what is best for their own particular communities and not their own pockets.

The fact that many MPs don't even live in their constituencies is testament to how little in common they have with the people they have been elected to serve. That people vote in candidates that don't live in their town shows how little people think of the candidates, deferring to the party to make the right choice and just tick the box that represents historic programming!

For the above reasons I have decided that for the 2010 elections the role of PoliticalEditor.co.uk will be to help the lesser known candidates achieve a voice.

We'll be creating a forum that facilitates the answering of questions by candidates across the UK and for those ladies and gents in Berkshire we'll be able to add their press releases to the BinB space and get them picked up by Google alerts ... this means that the world will hear your message should you choose to share it with us.

If you would like to be kept posted of developments then click here and fill in the form.

Thank you.
