Our constituency boundaries have been changed and so has the name since the last General Election in 2005. It used to be called Regent's Park and Kensington North but has been renamed Westminster North Constituency.

There are 65,800 Registered Voters although, many of them may not bother to vote - something that should be considered an honour and privilege. When I stood as an 'INDEPENDENT' Candidate last time, I became the First Commonwealth Citizen permanently residing in Great Britain, to stand as a candidate for the UK Parliament.

Why am I standing as an INDEPENDENT Candidate? Simple. Like millions of people, I felt that over the years, once elected, many Members of Parliament became distant and unapproachable. If you had any issues or matters of concern, they made if difficult for you to seek their assistance. Just before the last General Election in 2005, I went through the 'Voting Record' of Ms Karen Buck MP in the House of Commons, for whom I had voted at the 1997 and 2001 Elections.

What I found out made me upset and angry in that, I only agreed with less than 40% of the way she cast her valuable vote and, also tended to abstain on many controversial matters. I felt that among some of the best virtues of a career politician are to be a good listener, selflessness and total commitment. However, by abstaining and/or not being in the Lobby before any voting session, she had allegedly breached the trust and confidence, we had vested in her as our Parliamentary Representative. As such, any respect one had for Karen ebbed away and, I began to question her motives, integrity, wisdom and tolerance in showing determination and commitment and, remaining accountable to us for her actions.

In a laid back manner, I decided to register as a candidate in 2005 and, without the powerful party machinery to support my aspirations, got absolutely crushed amassing less than 200 votes although I distributed just 5,000 leaflets! Over the last 5 years, I have set up The (WCER) Westminster Council Estates' Residents Group (that has over 7,000 members - many over 60 years old and representing some 32,000 residents) AND The (WBB) Westminster Business Bureau (wbizbee@yahoo.co.uk), a Not for Profits Organisation (funded by a Saudi Royal, who used to reside in the Constituency while studying at Imperial College in South West London) that has assisted over 110 businesses in Central and West London and, has another 70 cases under review. Since the economic crunch, we have been doing the same for local residents in West and North West London.

Our Friendly, Reliable, Exceptional and Exemplary service from 'The Pleasant ONE' is absolutely FREE OF CHARGE!

Well, the General Election beckons.............. kindly reflect on what you have just read that has come from my heart.

ARE YOU ANY PARTY'S FOOL OR 'INDEPENDENT' LIKE ME?

YOUR VOTE COULD REALLY MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!

ON THURSDAY 6 MAY, MAKE MY DAY AND MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT FOR ME.

IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO SERVE YOU WITH HONOUR AND DIGNITY, VOTE FOR ABDULLA J. DHARAMSI COMMONLY KNOWN AS ABBY JAN DHARAMSEY.

REMEMBER, I AM CANDIDATE NUMBER 7 FOR THE WESTMINSTER NORTH CONSTITUENCY PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS.
