How can you claim to be in favour of proportional representation, and then disabuse the reality of tactical voting?
To claim that the electorates decisions over individual seats which involve party supporters voting tactically for other parties, makes the sum total of votes cast for a given party to be so significant that more seats but less votes means that “the change your leader cry” is cant and hypocrisy. Tactical voting across different constituencies means that the total vote cast for the different parties does not represent their “Presidential Vote”.
